The glass floor inserts are installed along the perimeter to the mezzanine and admit light down to the studio space below. Glass balustrades are fixed with 100mm gap between each panel.
The multi-function staircase and storage for materials, canvases and supplies continues to develop and take shape. A 4.5m large steel galvanising glazed door is fitted and the mezzanine extended studio awaits for glass floor inserts and balustrades.
The internal refurbishment of listed Artist Studio in St. John’s Wood is under way and the construction of the mezzanine level has moved forwards well. The mezzanine will provide an extended studio and storage space for the artist and features glass floors along the perimeter allowing light down to the space below.
